The Roxy was one of ITV’s more short-lived attempts to replicate the success of Top of the Pops. It didn’t work, despite the presence of former Pops presenter David ‘The Kid’ Jensen. So 80’s the whole show felt like it was wearing leg warmers and had a head full of hair mousse.
The logo featured those wiggly lightning bolts that went out of fashion in 1986.
